Transaction Picture 3-27-11

Rite Aid Transaction details 3-27-11

My sister and I visited a few Rite Aids this morning and collected the items pictured above. The Airwick/Lysol deal in their ad this week proved to be pretty good. I had two $4 Airwick coupons, $1.00 Airwick video value (March), $1 off of 2 Lysol coupon, $1.00 off of any Lysol video value (April). You earn a $5 +UP when you buy $15 worth of these products. Also, the in ad coupon for $3 off of 3 American Greetings meant lots cheap/free cards for me! Remember that you can only use one per transaction so visit a few stores and do a few different transactions if you want to take advantage of this. In one of the stores they had a sign posted for $10 +UP when you buy $20 of John Frieda items. I only saw this at ONE store. I had some John Frieda coupons and decided to do the deal. The +UP didn't print as expected but the cashier did give me a $10 gift card. Fine by me! She said that many people did the same thing this morning but the +UP didn't print for them either. My total before wellness + savings and coupons was $145.37 but I made about a $12 profit including the gift card. Wahooo! Turned out to not be such a bad week afterall.

Rite Aid Savings January-March 2011

As you can see, I did a little bit of shopping at Rite Aid these past three months. :) Since my receipt basket was overflowing, I decided to total up my savings for January-March 2011. My plan is to do this every three months and then add up the totals when I do 2011 savings. I also intend to reflect on my favorite "hot" deals from each quarter.
With that said, my total coupon and wellness + savings for January-March 2011 was $2,003.78 WOOT! In fact, Rite Aid paid me around $40 in cash (single check rebates) for shopping in their store these past three months and I paid NOTHING. I did not even get my wallet out at Rite Aid!
My top five favorite deals were 1. Rite Aid toilet paper (in large quantities- these were purchased in early February and we still have a large stockpile!) 2. Rite Aid Tissues (also in large quantities) 3. Dove deodorant for women (made lots of money on these!) 4. Johnson and Johnson baby lotion, wash, shampoo, etc (Bryn has enough for her great-grandchildren hehe) 5. Reach Toothbrushes (also made lots of money on these!)
For those of you who are new to this crazy game, keep up the good work! Maybe one day you will have a sickness like me and write a blog about it. HAHA!

My grand total without coupons would have been $186.91 for all of my transactions. Instead, I earned a profit of $23 in +UP rewards!!!!!! So, I got paid $23 for collecting $186.91 worth of product. Plus I will submit my receipt with the Pine Sol and collect an additional $1 for the single check rebate on these products. Therefore, a $24 profit for today.

This is what happens when Brad goes to Rite Aid...

Brad really loves my Rite Aid addiction. It has saved us a TON of money and we nearly get everything (except for main food items) for free as a result of all this. With that said, he REALLY loves Rite Aid when we have leftover expiring +UP rewards. After I "roll over" a certain amount of +UP rewards each week I always let him know what we have "leftover" to spend. Then he gets to use the leftover "money" to "buy" whatever he wants. You really should see him cruise around Rite Aid with his cart. It truly is a sight to see.

This week we had $25 left in expiring +UP rewards (I started this week with over $50 expiring). So, pictured is what Brad collected in his cart for $25 :) He said "make sure you put this on your blog." Interesting choices, huh? Haha!

Here is what I collected today from all of the stores I visited. Please keep in mind that I visited many different stores so that I did not clear any shelves! I also redeemed my rainchecks for the Johnson and Johnson products.

Rite Aid Transaction Details 3-6-11

I am officially exhausted after my Rite Aid shopping today. Baby Bryn decided to dance in my stomach at around 7:15 so needless to say I was at Rite Aid by 8:00 this morning. (YIKES!) I visited four stores today to spread out what I was buying and not clear any shelves. The deals were pretty good this week and I had a lot of +UP rewards expiring this week. In fact, I still have about $25 that Brad is excited to go spend. He is like a kid at a candy store when we have left over +UP rewards. I forsee lots of Coke Zero in our future :)

My total before coupons and savings would have been $198.27. After coupons and savings I made a profit of around $3.00 for shopping today. :) Therefore, I got paid $3.00 to "buy" $198.27 worth of product. Wahoooooo!

Giant Deals beginning 3/6

EDIT!!!- So, I must be blind because it is in the ad! Wahoooo!

I am SO excited for the upcoming cereal deal at Giant. A similar deal was on at Giant about a month or so ago and we really stocked up!

Here are the details...

Buy 4 General Mills Cereals get $6 off of instantly. There are a TON of coupons for General Mills on http://www.coupons.com/ right now so head over there to print a bunch! :) This deal is even better because when you buy 4 cereals you will also get a coupon (which will print at the register when you check out) for a FREE gallon of milk (valued up to $4.50). In the past when I have redeemed these coupons it took $4.50 off my order even though my milk was only around $3.60! Talk about a deal!

You can repeat this deal as often as you would like! Wahooooo!
